Peter J. Kemp, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Kemp has vast experience here in the Tidewater area. He trained at a major hospital in London, Sussex, England, New York City and Pontiac, Michigan. He is board certified, and is a Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Kemp has more than 15 years experience in OB/GYN practice in Hampton Roads, serves on the faculty of Eastern Virginia Medical School, and is an active member of the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center staff.
He also consults for Family Medical Associates in Virginia Beach in obstetrics/gynecology. Dr. Kemp resides in Virginia Beach with his wife Sue and their three children, Chris, Michael and Katie.
Kathleen Waters, WHCNP
Kathleen Waters-LaRocque hails from the Midwest.
She has 18 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She is doubly and nationally Board Certified as Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and menopause Clinician. She is an active and current member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, National Organization of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and Tidewater Nurse Practitioners Association.
Kathleen is married and resides with her husband, Dr. Jim LaRocque and children in Suffolk.
Lauren Hughes, WHNP-BC
Lauren Hughes is a Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in 2004. Lauren spent her next year as a Mother-Baby nurse, and then six years as a Labor & Delivery nurse at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2009. Prior to joining Chesapeake Women’s Care, Lauren worked as a nurse practitioner at the office of Dr. Diane L. H. Coltrin. Her clinical interests include contraception management, low risk obstetrics and adolescent gynecology. Lauren and her husband currently reside in Virginia Beach with their son.
